Editorial policy
Editorial & disclosure policy
Zaza Chat is an independent review publication. This page explains how we stay independent, how we make money, and how to flag anything that needs correcting.
-
Editorial independence
Rankings and verdicts are decided by our editorial team against a published methodology. No vendor can pay for a higher ranking or a more favourable verdict — our rankings are not for sale.
-
How we fund our work
We are reader-supported. Some links to vendors are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you sign up or buy through them — at no extra cost to you. This funding never changes how tools are scored or ordered.
-
Affiliate disclosure
Where a page contains affiliate links, an independence and disclosure note is shown so you always know when a commercial relationship exists. Presence or absence of an affiliate link has no bearing on a ranking.
-
Sponsored placements are labelled
We sometimes run sponsored placements and earn affiliate commissions through some links. Sponsored slots are always clearly labelled and kept separate from our editorial rankings — a commercial relationship never buys a higher ranking, a “sponsored #1” slot, or a more favourable verdict. Rankings themselves are never for sale.
-
Accuracy & corrections
We check pricing and features against vendor documentation at the time of review. Products change — if you spot something out of date or incorrect, tell us and we will review and correct it.
-
Fact-checking & sources
Claims in our guides are grounded in hands-on testing and primary sources such as vendor pricing pages and product docs. Sources are cited alongside each published guide.
